These are a guide; in our approach when administering our remedial massage techniques, and checking in with you to make sure you are comfortable with our approach before we begin any treatment.
Remedial massage techniques
Techniques include Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Release (STR) with passive & active movement, cupping, CRAC Stretching, Deep Glides, (DG) & Cross Fiber Friction (XFF), which are introduced after warming up the tissue using Swedish techniques (Relaxation). This increases a desired comfortable response (within the Clients pain threshold) in the gentlest possible way.
Muscles work together in groups and in most cases; people create over use in one part of that muscle group resulting in restricted movement, due to workplace demands which are harnessed by external environmental stress, people eventually end up with bad posturer and the body finding that comfort point to avoid pain or further injury.
In order to get to the functional comfortable side of life we need to loosen up & lengthen tight shortened muscles and balance them out with already long muscles, which are tapping you on the shoulder, reminding you, that they are taking on too much of the load. Hence the pain kicks in; sadly remedial massage is the last resort after you’ve seen everyone else.
Remember the body is like an onion with many layers, over time, these layers need to be worked through on each appointment booked with us. This enables the body to return to its proper posture and a happier new you.

Stress will always be there and becomes the aggressor, for some resulting in no exercise at the gym or in the home, lack of stretching and bad eating becomes a coping mechanism and survival creeps in and we become reactive rather than staying proactive.
